Based in either Invercargill or Christchurch the role Inbound Logistics & Livestock Coordination Officer is a key member of the Alliance supply chain team. As part of the team, you will be responsible for: Coordinating and scheduling stock movements to ensure optimal utilisation of available processing capacity. Supporting the Inbound Logistics Manager in developing and deploying the company's inbound logistics strategy. Deputising for the Inbound Logistics manager when and as required. To be successful in this role you will also have: Excellent interpersonal, with clear and concise communication skills both verbal and written. Excellent numerical skills.· Previous experience in project management. Experience working with information systems, excellent operating knowledge of Microsoft Office. Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously, collaboratively, and when required outside of normal office hours. This may include weekends. Familiarity with Transport Operations, particularly rural transport would be an advantage as would experience with Transport Management and Scheduling systems.
