This role is integral for ensuring landed product follows proper process to ensure we get the best produce we can to our customers as fast as possible. You'll deal directly with multiple supply partners and internal stakeholders to help make this happen.Key responsibilities include:Raise POs under direction of Imports Buying TeamProactively coordinate import of fresh produce into NZ following negotiation and order agreement by Buying Team (sea and air freight)Monitor shipping and air freight arranged by suppliersMonitor and facilitate customs clearance of goods prior to arrival into NZ portProcess and check import documents for delivery and customs purposesFacilitate delivery of container from port to DC import facilityPrioritise devanning of containers in liaison with Buying teamCoordinating BACC (MPI) clearances and lab testingProviding progress updates and reporting to Buying TeamManaging Agrichain surveys, fumigation and temp recordingsThe available shift is 5 days a week, Tuesday - Saturday (40 hours per week).This role is well suited to someone with solid administration skills, is well organised and for those wanting to grow their career and broaden their exposure in the imports and supermarket industry.Experience in one or more of the following areas would benefit your application to this role, fresh produce, product importing or exporting, finance, or supply chain management experience.This is a rare and exciting opportunity to put yourself right at the heart of one of New Zealand's biggest supply chains.Working with Woolworths NZ | Me mahi tahi tatou ki Woolworths NZOur purpose is to make Kiwis' lives a little better every day.We're friendly, down-to-earth, and energetic - we work hard but we have a great time doing it, and we love what we do.
