Import Airfreight Operations

Exceptional opportunity for a motivated and experienced Airfreight import operations expert to join this privately owned multinational freight forwarder. This company prides itself on the large network coupled with its strong focus on providing a highly personalised service.
This organisation has 30+ offices worldwide. Electronic tracking and tracing facilities providing up to the minute order management and tracking of shipments are in place to ensure end to end logistic capabilities.
This role is a very varied role and will include the following responsibilities:
Air freight import operations
Customer service
Filing of rates
Account management
Customer relations
Cartage
Storage
Invoicing
Transport allocation and scheduling
Warehouse maintenance

As the role is varied and includes warehouse functions, candidates must be experienced in forklift operation and ideally have a current forklift licence.
