Working in our new purpose built facility in central Whangarei we are currently looking for an experienced ICT Systems Engineer to support in the facilitation, development and delivery of ICT Infrastructure focused projects and emerging technologies.
As part of the ICT Systems Engineering Team the successful applicant will manage ICT Infrastructure related incidents and requests while also ensuring security of WDC ICT environment. The role will also include:
Identification of infrastructure risks to WDC ICT environmentMaintenance and development of existing systemsManagement of ICT operational and system improvementsActive support of BAU upgrades, updates and improvements to infrastructure and application suiteChampioning and delivering a secure working environmentIf you think you have what it takes to be successful in this role and are eager for us to consider your application, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following attributes: Experience with the following applications or technologies:Cisco switching/routing technologiesHP/Aruba SwitchesNext/4th generation Firewalls and associated TechnologiesVoIP administration experienceAzure virtualisation, infrastructure management and supportAuthentication technologies (MFA, SAML, SSO, ADFS)Device Management and Application deployment (SCCM/Intune)Ability to communicate complex information clearly with a varied and broad range of stakeholdersAbility to work effectively with others through development of strong working relationships and provision of clear well thought out adviceRelevant industry qualifications including ITIL Foundation, Network+, CCA, CCNA, MCSAExtensive experience in LAN/WAN development, security, and supportExtensive knowledge of systems securityWe offer a professional and progressive environment, continuous learning and development opportunities, a range of flexible working and work/life balance options, Health Insurance, Life Insurance (2x your base salary) and payment of a professional membership.
Salary range $77,900 - $91,660Location of Work - Whangarei CBDHours of work - 37.5 per weekWhangarei is a district on the rise. It is Northland's only city and largest commercial centre. Nestled between the forest clad hills at the heart of the beautiful Whangarei Harbour, nowhere in the district is more than 40 kilometres away from our spectacular coastline. For many, commuting to WDC's CBD location is a breeze.
