Our services span strategic advice, to project management and project planning, through to land development including surveying, civil engineering and resource consenting. We're on the hunt for an experienced HR Manager to join us as we work to bring efficiency and innovation to our HR processes. This is an exciting new role, covering the whole spectrum of HR (no two days will be the same!) with a significant focus on systems, culture, training and development across our Christchurch and Auckland teams.Reporting to the General Manager, you'll play a critical part in aligning HR initiatives with business goals, ensuring effective project execution nationally. We'll need your expertise in recruitment, employment contract management, performance management, training & development, Health and Safety, employment relations and change management. You'll also be collaborating and contributing to Inovo's sister company Hierarchy Group.Key responsibilitiesCoach our people managers to achieve optimum engagement and performance from team membersProvide specialist advice and guidance in relation to wide ranging employment mattersSupport managers in sourcing and selection of talentCoach managers through interview, selection and candidate management processesAssist with development and management of Health & Safety practices, and wellbeing initiatives as part of the broader people & culture strategyIdentify and proactively manage risks through compliance with relevant employment legislation and best People practicesPartner with people managers to ensure team members are progressing and developingDevelop and implement relevant learning and development activitiesWork with the GM to develop the People Strategy and take ownership of implementing key People cyclical processesThe FitThis is a rare chance to make a real impact with one of NZ's successful privately owned consultancy companies. We're looking for someone with a sound knowledge of people processes and systems. To succeed in this role, you'll also need:5 Years+ of HE experience in a broad generalist roleBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.Knowledge and experience of NZ Health and Safety legislation.Knowledge and understanding of HR policies, processes and employment legislation together with experience working with HR best practices.Employment relations and performance management experienceExcellent interpersonal and relationship management skillsSolid MS Office skills and experience using an HRISWorking at InovoWe are professional, hardworking people.
