You will also assist with the roll out and implementation of HR initiatives, projects, compliance, and Learning & Development.This is a full-time role, based at our 5-star Fable Christchurch Hotel in Christchurch Central.Key Responsibilities:HR Administration tasks including posting job advertisements, conducting initial screenings and reference checks, preparing employment documents, etc.Maintain employee records and our HRIS - Zambion, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of all information.Process payroll information, including new hires, terminations, and changes, in collaboration with the Payroll ManagerDevelop and maintain HR compliance knowledgeSupport HR projects and initiatives, such as recognition programs, policy updates, and employee engagement surveysAssess training needs to apply and monitor training programsCoordinate and attend to queries from General Managers and Heads of Departments with the assistance of the Group HR ManagerWhat we are looking for in the ideal candidate:At least one year experience as a HR Administrator or similar; experience in hotel is a strong advantage.Tertiary qualification in HR or psychologyGood understanding of basic NZ employment laws and regulationsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionWillingness to grow and develop your expertiseAbility to multitask and adapt to changes in prioritiesExcellent attention to details and accuracy in data entry and recordkeepingExceptional time management and organisations skills to handle multiple projects at onceFamiliar with MS Suites applications such as Words, Excel, and TeamsValid rights to work in New Zealand is a must!What we offer at CPG Hotels:Endless career and growth opportunitiesFantastic rewards and recognition initiativesFree access to hundreds of online Hospitality coursesA variety of amazing corporate discountsSound like a good fit?
