From urban townhouses to family homes, classic forms to contemporary looks – we create homes for life.We have a new opportunity for a commercially experienced HR Manager to join our Head Office team at Christchurch to manage the HR function across our corporate offices and associated construction companies NZ wide.This is a sole charge position responsible for end-to-end HR performance and delivery from administration, compliance, recruitment, performance, remuneration and everything in between. With a focus on supporting and mentoring our functional and branch managers, this role requires deep experience and a broad range of skills across restructures, disciplinary and performance management, and the ability to authentically drive courageous conversations from building sites to the senior Management team.The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in HR and at least 10+ years' experience in HR delivery, including as an HR Manager and preferably with time in the construction or related sectors. They will be just as happy drafting agreements and recruitment adverts, interviewing and referee checking as they will be driving core processes with managers and advising the SLT. Reporting to the CFO, they will have a critically commercial view of HR and the responsibility of the function to support business outcomes.The right person will be adaptable, flexible, a fast learner and a team player but with a strong sense of values, coaching and leadership and how to achieve great things with people on a limited budget and a pragmatic approach.
