The Organisation:Based from Tokoroa in the South Waikato, The Raukawa Charitable Trust (RCT) has been a provider of quality community initiatives throughout the South Waikato since 1987, and we are proud to deliver a wide range of iwi-led initiatives in health, social, treaty, cultural, and environmental sectors, to the communities that we serve.The Position:As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery or and ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources team & one of our larger Groups in the organisation – Tiwai Hauora. You will partner with our leaders and their teams to provide professional, practical, robust advice and support. Our ideal candidate is a Senior Practitioner or Specialist with great relationships, eager to make a positive impact and help us in delivering an exceptional employee experience.Key responsibilities include: Supporting our people leaders, championing best practise and alignment with our vision, mission and values Review & development of organisational policies and procedures Support with the end to end HR functions from onboarding to offboarding, remuneration, employment relations, transformational change and all in between; Providing accurate advice to manage risk and support the delivery of high performance outcomes Compliance in all relevant legislative requirements and best practice Use your recruitment expertise to support delivery of outcomes Lead performance management activities to enhance and improve employee performance Ensuring accurate record keeping and HR documentation within Raukawa systems To be successful in this role, we are seeking candidates with: Previous experience delivering high quality HR advice to support managers across HR functions A relevant tertiary qualification in HR, Health and safety or both Extensive knowledge of NZ employment law A high attention to detail in order to produce quality documentation The ability to build strong working relationships A flexible approach to working, who can problem solve and offer practical solutions Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence Former experience within NGO and/or Government would be highly regarded In return, we Offer Supportive and inclusive team where we know people are at the heart of our success A friendly team and culture Ongoing development and training opportunities Independent and confidential employee assistance Wellbeing initiatives and events that support and recognise staff members and their contributions Southern Cross Health Insurance subsidy Applicants must hold a valid and full Class 1 drivers licence and be prepared to undergo Police vetting.Suitable candidates will be assessed & may be interviewed while the advertisement is open and will close on Sunday 12 May 2024.Unfortunately, applications from those without the right to work in New Zealand will not be considered.
