To continue our success, we currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Human Resources team as aHuman Resources Advisor on a 5-month fixed-term (part time) contract. This role will be responsible for providing generalist operational Human Resources support to our HR Team and Managers. You will also support to help ensure we deliver our NZ People Plan. We are after a strong & decisive HR Advisor who is happy to work on a variety of portfolios within our team.

Key Accountabilities:
Provide a consultancy and advisory service to management and staff on human resource management issues including the interpretation of relevant acts, regulations, collective agreements, legislation, policy and procedures relevant to HR and the provision of advice on contemporary HR practices.
Provide support in the development and execution of HR policies/processes and employee engagement programs.
To maintain accurate human resources information systems by ensuring contractual employment records are up-to-date, accurate and in accordance with company policy.
Support the HR Manager by providing operational human resource information and analysis to identify trends and recommended actions.
Support with the execution of events across our Engagement, Healthy Living & Diversity and Inclusion portfolios.
Provide Support in Talent Acquisition as required.
Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Strong and professional communication style in both written and verbal forms
Ability to organise self and others, to deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable for degree qualifications in Human Resources, Psychology or related discipline
Experience in managing grievances, disciplinary and counselling situations.
Detailed understanding and demonstrated ability of applicable legislation.
Demonstrated ER experience in a Blue-Collar unionised environment would be beneficial for this role.
