Job Description
Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Dedicated to creating delicious baked goods? Committed to delivering an excellent experience for guests and exceptional customer service? We are looking for an experienced Baker. You will create and bake a range of tasty baked goods, making sure they satisfy our guests and live up to our high standards.
Assist the Executive Pastry Chef with the creation of recipes and adhere to standardized recipes and specifications in order to maintain consistency. Supervision of kitchen in the absence of the Executive and Sous Chefs. Delegate duties and responsibilities to kitchen employees to ensure service demands are met. Ensure that all food products are handled, sored, prepared and served safely in accordance with hotel and government Food Safety Guidelines.
Qualifications
You will be:
Experienced working in a 5-star luxury hotel with comparable service and standards. Innovative and creative in providing quality baked goods to meet the satisfaction of our guests. Creatively crafting new breads, pastries and other baked goods. Experienced and have advanced knowledge of laminating pastry, sourdough, international flatbread, baguette, pumpernickel, pai bao, soda bread, challah and more. Self-motivated and possess a positive, can-do attitude. You will have the ability to work independently and have a good initiative in a dynamic environment. You'll have an excellent eye for detail and be service-oriented. You have an immense passion in the hospitality industry and are eager to pick up new skills from peers.
Additional Information
This is a Full Time role with guaranteed 40 hours per week, a competitive salary range of $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 and Accors range of Global Benefits.
