House Maintance Or Gardening

We require 2 people to help with a number of jobs.We offer a fully self contained cottage to live in we provide food but you cook for yourselves. In return we ask for 4 hours work a day.  Similar to WWOOFWe have a 20 acre lifestyle block on the edge of the beautiful Puketi forest ( With 3 cows 1 dog 1 cat).  Forest road Okaihau. Great for walks also very convenient if you want to explore  Kerikeri or the Bay of Islands areaIt would help if you had experience with tools but not essential.The jobs include helping with maintenance on our roof.  This is a very low pitched single story house not difficult however it is weather dependent we need dry days. If at any time you can work over the 4 hours to get job done we can offer payment or suggest you take days off to explore the area.Other jobs helping with our firewood gathering and cutting( mechanical not hand axes!)  then stacking.We also have a Kumera (sweet potato) crop that needs harvesting. Also a day to pick our olives if weather ok.Plenty to interest you. We have had many backpackers over the years and all enjoy our place.  We are happy to collect anyone from Kerikeri if you do not have transport or use the bus.Minimum stay 5 days. more if possible.
