The start date for this position is set for mid-July.
About the Role We're on the hunt for skilled Registered Nurses to join our clinical leadership team as a Unit Coordinator. Specifically, we're seeking individuals to fill the role of Hospital Unit Coordinator.
As the Unit Coordinator, you will use your nursing and people skills to: Provide leadership, coaching, and support to your team, ensuring care is always "good enough for mum and dad"Foster the Ryman culture which promotes a safe and enjoyable work experience for your teamEnsure all care is continuously assessed, planned, implemented, and evaluated to meet the needs of each resident within the units.Actively engage with resident's families/whanau, visitors, Allied Health Professionals, and District Health Boards, creating lasting relationshipsEnsure your team embrace a range of beliefs, ethnicities, gender, sexuality, and principles of Te Tiriti o WaitangiPerform and support your nursing team to conduct interRAI assessmentsIntermittently provide additional time outside rostered hours to attend events, support team members or residents and families as needed Dedicate quality time with your team, including flexibility of rostered hours on different shifts to connect with all team members within the unitCommunicate effectively and efficiently with your team that promotes respect and trustParticipate as a positive and trusting member of a team that works together as oneProvide support to your Clinical Manager and Village ManagerAbout You To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:
