About the role
We are a vibrant team of five dental assistants supporting our dentists care for in-patients and out-patients eligible for hospital dental services. We work in modern facilities and are focussed on providing a high standard of general oral health care to our patients/clients.
You will be required to provide dental assistance for dental clinicians in both dental clinics and theatre and complete a range of associated administration duties to a high standard.
This is a permanent part-time position available working up to 64 hours a fortnight. Our service operates between the hours of 8.00AM and 5.00PM Monday to Friday.
About you
Previous dental assisting experience, a NZDA or NZQA Level 3 Certificate in Dental Assisting and knowledge of dental software management systems would be advantageous, but is not essential. If you do not have the NZQA qualification you will be required to complete this certificate within 2 years of commencing employment.
You will have great interpersonal skills and a high standard of oral and written communication. You will enjoy working in a supportive team, demonstrating enthusiasm and the willingness to be versatile and adaptable.
