Management - Store (Retail & Consumer Products) Vacancy for Team Leader Role - Waitara HospiceShop We have an opportunity for a dynamic and energetic people person with an evidenced retail background to join our charity retail group in Waitara. This role will ideally fit with someone who has a hands-on attitude and leads from the front. Our HospiceShops receive a wide range of donated goods for resale to generate funds to support our community hospice services across Taranaki. All forms of pre-owned clothing form a large part of our business so a flair for presentation and promotion of quality items in our showroom will be an important part of this position. The appointed individual will oversee all facets of the Waitara Hospice Shop's operations. In this capacity, the role involves:  providing support to the manager and volunteer staff,  adhering to Hospice Shop Taranaki guidelines, and  As a hands-on position, the role demands a reasonable level of fitness and agility to maintain a welcoming and well-stocked store. Collaboration as an integral team member is crucial for success in this role. This part-time position entails 20 hours per week, encompassing responsibilities such as:  stocking and showcasing the store,  processing donations, and  handling cash transactions.  Additionally, there may be occasions where store management is required to cover for leave or illness. In return, Te Kahu Pairuri Hospice Taranaki offers a welcoming and inclusive work environment, prioritising well-being and fostering a congenial atmosphere. In Summary: 20 paid hours per week Start date: to be discussed with successful applicant  $25.50 hourly rate The role requires a good level of physical acuity for movement of stock.
