Hindi Speaking Television Assistant
We’re looking for someone aged 22-35 who is a fluent Hindi speaker to assist in the production of a TV series.
Hindi speaking New Zealanders feature prominently in the series and your primary role will be making contact with talent prior to shoots, going out with the camera crew and translating on location, and also translating interviews during the editing process. There is no on-screen work involved with this role.
Additional work will include helping on set, collecting props and helping pack down the set afterwards. Hours are based on when talent are available so this won't be a standard 9-5. Weekend work also could be needed. We will discuss hours involved with each applicant and there may be some flexibility available as well.
Previous experience in the television industry would be useful but it’s not essential - an eagerness to learn and a very good work ethic and personable skills will be more than enough.
