MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a large Public Sector organisation in their search for a Higher Scientific Officer in the field of air pollution modelling on a contract basis initially.The Role:Work with emissions (largely ammonia) and atmospheric data, gathered over 3 years of fieldwork, and to model this data using WindTrax modelling software packages.Duties also include organising equipment for and working in the field and/or laboratory as part of a team to obtain further data for modelling.The role may also require contributing to data analysis, reporting, subsequent results publication in high impact-factor journals and the presentation of results to government, industry, and other stakeholders.The successful HSO will report to the SSO/PSO leading the project.Participate in work in a field and/or laboratory environment.The Person:Level 5 (Foundation Degree) or equivalent in environmental science, chemistry, physics, physical geography, or another relevant scientific discipline.
