Horizon Networks is recruiting for a High Voltage Electrician/ Cable Jointer to join our growing team in Whakatane. This position is permanent full-time, 40 hours per week.

To be successful, a candidate must have the following qualifications, experience and skills: Qualifications Registered Electrician 2 Years' experience Current Manual NZ Drivers Licence Current Class 2 Full Licence Current Class 4 Full Licence Desirable and Expectation once employed Good understanding of network operating systems Thorough knowledge of and ability to maintain, transformers and switchgear rated from 400V to 33kV Experience in jointing XLPE cables up to 33kV and polymeric and/or paper lead up to 11kV would be preferred Live jointing of LV cables Installation of LV pillars, distribution transformers, Ring Main Units and Switchgear The Horizon Energy Group takes pride in its commitment to the health and safety of all its stakeholders.
