Our Client is a well known in the earth moving machinery industry. They have a wide range of machinery that services both the construction and forestry industries. As this company is constantly growing there will be countless opportunities for growth.
Your new role
You will be based in their workshop in Christchurch where your duties will be mainly focused on machine overhauls, customer repairs and pre delivery work. As this company both offers the sales and service of machinery you will work on all aspects of the equipment.
What you'll need to succeed
Trade Qualifications as a Plant Mechanic (or equivalent) Demonstrated ability and recent experience in the repair of earth moving plant, trucks or tractor based equipment Previous experience in a similar role Demonstrated ability to diagnose, recommend appropriate action for fixing mechanical problems, and undertake repairs Basic computer skills
