Job DescriptionHealth, Safety and Environmental Project LeadOpportunity to work within a trusted Global Animal Health OrganisationExciting Project Temporary 1-Year Full-Time Contract Based at our Upper Hutt production site, with EHS support also for our Whiteman Valley's siteUse your solid EHS experience on Capital projects to play a pivotal role in ensuring safety of new processes, equipments etcTHE OPPORTUNITY?The Health, Safety and Environmental Project Lead would join a team that is responsible for providing and managing an efficient and effective health, safety and environmental management system for our New Zealand sites based at Upper Hutt and Whiteman's Valley. This site champions the company HS&E culture, strategy and initiatives and has the responsibility for ensuring everyone is "Safe by Choice".The Health, Safety and Environmental Project Lead sits within the Global Safety & Environment organization and reports to the Associate Director of Safety & Environment.WHAT YOU WILL DOMaintaining existing company HS&E systems, processes, and procedures.Being the point of contact for new projects to ensure HS&E compliance as part of change management.Supporting all project HS&E incident / accident reporting and ensure corrective actions are implemented.Participating in commissioning walkdowns as well as pre-startup safety checklists.Being the point of contact for HS&E related project decisions as well as Safety & Environmental regulations.Reporting of routine HS&E metrics to corporate and regulatory bodies. Participating in Process Hazard Analysis and ensuring recommendations are implemented.Supporting Turnover (W3) walkdowns.Representing HS&E in all design reviews and ensuring design fulfills Our Company and regulatory requirements.Ensure the highest possible safety standards are met by:Supporting the investigation and resolution of incidents and accidents in a timely manner.Ensuring hazards are identified within each project and assist with the implementation of corrective actions.Participating in project safety meetings.WHAT YOU WILL HAVETo be successful in this role, you will have:Diploma in a Health, Safety, Environmental or related discipline is preferred, but not essentialSolid 5+ years' work experience in a similar role in a regulated environmentDemonstrated experience in conducting commissioning walkdowns for construction or capital projectsStrong understanding of GMP and quality systems.
