Health Care Assistant - Outpatients Services | Greymouth Start Date  - As soon as availableHours – 0.6 FTE (24 hours a week)Shifts – 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm.Weekend shifts will be required from time to time.Status  – PermanentSalary  - Starting from $60,100 to $70,358 per annum.Based on the NZNO Nursing and Midwifery collective agreementMo te tunga - About the RoleThis role is excellent for someone who is lookingto develop their skills and grow their career in health care.In this role you will be under the direction and delegation of a RegisteredNurse and be working closely with the nursing teams.The role of a Health Care assistant varies from dayto day, but you will be there to make sure that the unit is running smoothlyand to its highest potential. This could mean performing a variety of taskssuch as:Basic patientcare;Assist withOutpatient clinics;Stocktakingand managing equipment and supplies;Assisting thenursing team with a variety of tasks;Ensuring thatpatients have the best experience possible;Housekeepingwithin the Outpatient department.We are unique and like no other in New Zealand witha close-knit community where your work will make a real difference.
