Work alongside managersand Health and Safety Representatives to drive continuous improvement in our systemsand lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, participation andknowledge of health and safety systems and practices.
We are looking someone with demonstrated health andsafety capability and the energy to drive organisational-wide improvements.You will have a sound working knowledge of healthand safety practices, preferably in the local government environment.You will be able to think strategically andconfidently communicate using succinct reports and presentations.You will thrive on influencing a range of peopleacross our organisation and get satisfaction from seeing our enhanced processesbeing effectively utilised.You will have a tertiary qualification in relevant disciplinee.g. health and safety management.Ourpeople are accomplished, capable, and driven by curiosity to learn more - aboutthe council, its impact, and their own potential.
