We're driven by our values - We Grow Together, We Keep Things Simple, We Get Stuff Done.The opportunityAs the Head of Supply Chain NZ for Goodman Fielder you will work at an executive leadership level and lead the Supply Chain team to rapidly expedite growth, drive commercial performance, and enable a market-leading customer experience whilst driving efficient supply chain performance at optimal levels whilst minimising cost to the business. This role is a key member of the Goodman Fielder Executive Team contributing to and driving organisational strategy, with full P&L responsibility for the Supply Chain.You will lead the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of the Supply Chain for Goodman Fielder NZ including the implementation of enterprise transformation to ensure that the Supply Chain is set up to enable customer growth and to win in the competitive FMCG and Foodservice markets. You will be challenged to provide effective and inspirational leadership across the business to optimise end-to-end business processes, systems and tools.You will lead a team of senior leaders across Customer Experience, Planning, Logistics, Warehousing, Transport, Distribution and Transformation. This role requires an effective, experienced and influential leader who can influence up, across and down the organisation, engaging and motivating your teams to deliver on purpose and growth agendas.Key deliverables:Lead and grow a high-performance culture, fostering an engaged and connected environment enabling people to be the best version of themselves.Develop and execute the Supply Chain Strategic Plan to enable significant growth, profitability, and market share gains in the next 12-24 months.Grow value to Wilmar and Goodman Fielder NZ by leveraging distribution and transport networks and the national footprint to optimal effect at minimum cost to the business.Generate external revenue through providing logistic services to third parties and drive efficiencies as a result.Key responsibilities:Ensure functional strategies are developed and executed fir each of the Supply Chain functions.Lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, operations, R&D, and Procurement to drive alignment and deliver the Supply Chain Strategic Plan.Communicate a clear and compelling vision and strategic plan that engages the Supply Chain teams and drives effective delivery of the plan.Develop the assets strategy for warehousing, hubs, depots etc.Drive and improve operational effectiveness and Continuous Improvement across the Supply Chain.Champion the Customer Experience Strategy and plans to enable growth and ensure a market-leading customer experience and delivery.Development and delivery of the annual budget for Supply Chain and delivering financial targets with regard to costs, growth, improvements, and volume.People leadership – drive team engagement and create a high-performance and growth mindset-focused culture.What's in it for youThis role is a great opportunity to work in a genuine leadership role where you will be able (and expected) to make an impact.
