Head Of Programme Delivery

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

· Reach agreement on the achievability of product release plans and work priorities, ensuring there are sufficient resources available to meet proposed release dates.
· Manage the development of papers and actions for the program board and steering committee plus the governance calendar.
· Evaluate and agree change control requests outside of the roadmap plan, ensuring changes are achievable and the impact on existing work in progress is understood and agreed.
· Work with product owners, delivery managers and other stakeholders to ensure team alignment with commitments to business priorities.
· Proactively address risks (technical or schedule) with a sense of urgency to keep teams productive.
· Be an expert in running projects through an agile-like process, working towards a minimum viable product increment to meet program cadence.
· Work with and mentor delivery teams daily to manage and optimise the flow of prioritised work through a series of iterations, facilitating stand-ups, team planning sessions and other agile activities.
· Escalate and resolve program issues, deal with resource constraints, and manage intra-team timing challenges.
· Accept and manage changing priorities and address issues quickly and professionally.
· Manage and communicate the implementation of significant changes to planning objectives, schedules, and product configurations to internal and external stakeholders.

· A degree level qualification, ideally in an IT related discipline.
· 3+ years' in agile project management, running release and iteration planning sessions, backlog grooming, and releasing to production environments.
· 2+ years' experience in a program management role, planning and coordinating multiple development streams, and in delivering projects in a continuous testing and delivery environment.
· Extensive understanding of change control and management processes.
