With such a lofty mission and bold goals, we are on the lookout for the right talent to help us deliver.About the roleAs a Senior Manager - Generation Development, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our sustainable future. Here's your chance to lead the charge in creating utility-scale solar, wind, and storage projects that will transform the energy landscape. You'll do this by:Leading a team of project development professionals focused on activities including site identification, pipeline development, planning, and grid connection processes.Sourcing new renewable generation development projects by understanding market intelligence and evaluating proposals.Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Leveraging these relationships to identify, plan, and execute development opportunities.Acting as the key senior manager for joint development partners, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective project delivery. You'll monitor development timelines, budgets, risks, and progress.About you:To excel in this role, you will need to be a seasoned commercial leader with extensive experience in large-scale project development, within the energy industry. You'll be an expert in generation development including, power generation technology and/or the electricity industry in NZ or overseas.You'll have a talent for relationship management built through your commercial business development experience.
