This role brings together the variety and ownership of working for a small agile business with the strategic thinking and direction setting required in an already established and successful company. Leading the finance team, you will have a direct impact on ensuring HazardCo's success. You will provide high-quality, accurate and relevant financial information and reporting, along with data-driven financial analysis that will influence HazardCo's business decisions and strategy. Day to day will see you: Providing insightful commentary on financial metrics to guide strategic decision-making Overseeing the finance team and all financial processes/systems Taking the lead in their RevOps Insights process Preparing, with support from the finance team, all financial statements, including month-end duties and ensuring month-end close is on time and accurate Effectively managing cash flow and proactively optimising cash utilisation Working with the board chair and the chair of the Audit and Risk committee to manage corporate governance Developing financial strategies, budgeting and control processes and forecasts to support revenue models, with a particular focus on fuelling business development and growth Working with the external accountants to manage intercompany and transfer pricing with the HazardCo Australia and UK businesses Preparing and producing quarterly reports and full year financial statements for the Company, to Board and bank presentation level Working with the SQL database to inform your recommendations To be successful, we are looking for: A relevant tertiary qualification and Chartered Membership in CAANZ At least 5 years experience in finance and a readiness to step into a management role. Experience in driving business strategy using data and research, whilst also undertaking hands-on, day-to-day finance tasks; Advanced excel, modelling and data analysis skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and comfort engaging with a diverse range of people.
