Our Client has a need for an experienced finance management professional to join their organisation. They require a person who is a natural people leader, strategically minded and committed to continual improvement. Reporting to the General Manager, the Head of Finance role is a varied leadership role responsible for the delivery of the strategic direction of finance, budgeting/forecasting and associated reporting functions. To be successful in this role you will have the ability to build and manage a high performing team ensuring that people with the right skills and motivations are in the right place at the right time to meet business needs. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and importantly ensure the organisation meets all of its compliance requirements. To be considered you will need: Tertiary qualification BCom or equivalent (essential) CA qualified (essential) Experience in planning and delivering commercial and financial strategies and their execution to achieve its business objectives. Delivering effective business performance reporting to enable the organisation to manage its performance and providing clear, impartial professional advice and objective financial and commercial analysis and interpretation of complex situations to a wider range of financial users. Ensuring legal and compliance requirements associated with IFRS and GAAP and its constitutional and statutory requirements are met. Planning and overseeing the auditing of annual accounts and ensure the auditors recommendations are implemented in a timely and appropriate manner. Leading the effective communication and management of the organisations financial budgeting, monthly and quarterly review process. Making recommendations for enhancements to the Group's activities in particular relating to financial and commercial performance. Leading and enabling an effective Enterprise Risk Management process. Experience in a top tier Professional Services firm is advantageous.
