Head Of Faculty English (4Mu + 1 Mma)

We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and pedagogically outstanding leader for our vibrant Faculty of English. This is an opportunity to develop exceptional teaching and learning and lead a group of highly capable and experienced staff. As a Kura, we offer English extension, English and English Literacy pathways. We place a strong emphasis on high academic achievement secured by strong collective practice. Our Junior English programme is a knowledge and skills rich foundation for our NCEA co-requisite, senior courses and NZQA Scholarship. This is a full-time permanent position to start Term 2. Annual remuneration is dependent on service and qualifications, starting rate of $56,757 and top rate of $95,400 (plus allowances). Hours of work will be full-time (25 hours of scheduled teaching time per week) as set out in the STCA.
