UKAS is recruiting for an experienced training manager to lead our market-leading Commercial Training & Advisory services.The Head of Commercial Training is a critical, senior position within UKAS and would suit a leader with a proven track record of planning and developing technical training packages.The successful candidate will have:Demonstrable experience in developing and delivering public and private training packages.Strong communication and relationship-building skills and team management experience.A thorough understanding of modern training delivery methods and the use of new and innovative technology to enhance training courses.An ability to analyse and improve existing processes.Experience in training delivery within a Testing, Inspection, Certification or Quality environment would be advantageous.Reporting to the Commercial Director, the position will be primarily to lead, coach and mentor the training team in the promotion of UKAS' Commercial Training & Advisory services.Duties of this role include:The daily management and development of the Commercial Training and Advisory Services team. Including KPI setting, mentoring and skills development.Working with the Commercial Director and Head of Marketing devising strategies for commercial growth across the business.Reviewing existing approaches, promoting best practices and making changes where appropriate.Horizon scanning for new methods, market developments and technologies to aid the development of training solutions.Working with internal stakeholders, to develop new technical areas with the potential for new commercial courses.The position involves occasional UK travel with overnight stays as required as part of this role.This is a full-time role, with the option of hybrid working, based at our head office in Staines-upon-Thames.Head of Commercial Training - Job Specification#J-18808-Ljbffr
