Wellington Free Ambulance is the region's sole emergency ambulance service, and the only free service in the country. We look after 1 in 10 of your friends and family every year, ensuring we provide the best possible care to our patients. Part of this strategic commitment requires us to provide the highest standards of education to all clinical staff. This ensures they are equipped with the skills and training to provide industry-leading, quality, progressive and evidence-based patient care. Because of this, we are now seeking to appoint a Head of Clinical Education. This role will develop, implement and maintain a dynamic strategy that reflects the requirements of our clinical staff, providing them with the skills to deliver on our strategic intent. Great candidates will have: An ability to cultivate and maintain durable and collegial networks – both within and outside their employing organisation A sound understanding of the principles of adult clinicallearning and instructional design Experience in successful, relevant programme delivery Experience in Board reporting and long-term planning Ideally, you will also be a Registered Health Professional with experience delivering training in the Health Sector. Importantly, a passion for community service through the medium of education will be a hallmark of success in this role.
