An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Curator to join Christchurch Art Gallery. Reporting directly to the Audience and Programmes Manager and working closely with the Director, you'll be responsible for research, develop and deliver innovative and scholarly exhibitions that engage with current national and international ideas and practices in art and contemporary culture, and have high audience appeal.
You'll bring a wealth of experience and strong curatorial vision to lead and mentor the four other members of the Gallery's curatorial team to ensure that Christchurch Art Gallery remains positioned at the leading edge of audience-oriented interpretation, curatorial practice and collection development.
