Head Chef - Luxury Island Resort

About The Role
Beautiful Tropical Island Resort has been newly renovated and is opening soon! The resort has completely been remastered and has a new vision - this well known resort will be 2019's Dream Holiday Destination! This will be an amazing opportunity for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to really make their mark in a kitchen! This role will require a hands on leader who is able to train and mentor the kitchen brigade. The Restaurant will seat up to 150 people and is expected to serve 250 meals a night, with room service options available. Reporting to the Executive Chef.

Stills & Attributes
A minimum of 3 years experience in Head Chef title
Pre-opening experience would be beneficial
Previous experience in remote resorts would be beneficial
Positive and uplifting attitude
A hands on approach to all kitchen operations
Manage staff effectively to achieve the best results
Flexible in working hours
Have sound understanding of COG's and wage cost percentages
Be effective with menu development to maintain industry trends
