We are seeking for several motivated Hammerhands to join our team. You will be paid an hourly rate of $26.69-$29.66 depending on yourexperience and skill level. You will be working in Auckland. This role will be a permanent, fulltimeposition and will be guaranteed 30 hours of work per week fromMonday to Saturday but can be up to 50 hours weekly. Paid fortnightly, 4 weeks annual leave, Statutory holidays, Sickandbereavement leave. Opportunities to upskill. Candidates need to be able to start immediately and work lawfully inNewZealand   Duties and Responsibilities: - Shovel materials to and from construction areas, including asphalt and dirt - Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed - Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material according to measurements - Build and assemble wooden structures and other items and install them where designated - Assist carpenters in building window frames, doors, staircase and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed products - Lay out wooden structures and other construction structures including plasterboard, foundations, flooring, roofings or drywalls - Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment. - Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, loaders and other tools as directed by foreman - Perform work in accordance with safety best practices - Maintain tools and equipment in safe operating condition     The successful candidate must have: -Experience is preferred, while not necessary as we can provide training ifyou have a positive and can-do attitude -Regular and reliable attendance -Physically fit and able to handle the heavy workload -Quality workmanship and eye for detail -Commitment to health and workplace safety -Strong ability to work independently -Able to pass health, drug and criminal checks if required   If you are interested in this role, please send through your CV to:  by 16th May 2024.
