We are a well-established barbershop in Christchurch that offers a range of services for men, women, and children. As a Hair dresser, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, technical skills, and passion for beauty. From haircuts and styling to various beauty treatments, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the overall experience for our clients.Duties:Welcoming clients and consulting with them on their desired hairstyles.Cutting and trimming hair according to clients' instructions.Styling hair using chemical solutions and styling tools.Shaving, trimming and shaping clients' beards and mustaches.Washing and conditioning clients' hair.Providing hair treatments and coloring.Ensuring that combs, scissors, razors, and other instruments are cleaned and sanitized after each use.Supervising apprentices and trainees.Providing face, scalp and neck massages.Providing hairstyle suggestions to clientsRequirements:Proven experience as a Barber/Hairdresser is preferable but not mandatory as we will provide training to the right candidate.Strong English communication and customer service skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.A creative and detail-oriented approach to beauty services.Permanent full-time job Work hours will be 9am to 6pm, Tuesday to Saturday with a minimum of 30 hours per week and maximum 35 hours per weekBenefits:Competitive pay rate of $26 - $30 per hour.Opportunities for professional development.Friendly and supportive team environment.Please submit your resume and portfolio (if applicable) to ******.
