Hairdresser

The candidate must be able to work but not limited to : ·         To carefully shampoo the hair and condition the scalps without hurting the customer. ·         Must have adequate knowledge of hair care, beauty products and hairstyle to provide the customers with the best advice. ·         Utilising the chemicals solutions in correct portions and with specific techniques for colouring and straightening of hair including the permanent waving of hair. ·         Must be capable of cutting hair precisely using scissors, clippers and razors. ·         Strong attention to details while styling hair into dreadlocks, braids and adding hair extensions. ·         Be able to shave or trim the beard and moustaches when required. ·         Cleaning the work areas within particular time intervals also ensuring that the equipment is clean and sanitised. ·         Maintaining the records of the appointments and receiving payments from the customers. ·         May be required to clean, cut, style, and colour the hair accessories and wig. ·         Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. ·         Good communication skills.   The successful candidate must have a clean driving & criminal record. The applicants must be a New Zealand citizen, resident or have valid work rights.
