Position outline: At The Rees, we pride ourselves on going above and beyond by delivering an unforgettable experience to our guests. Our Guest Activities Co-ordinators have the interesting and enjoyable task of organising and booking personalised itineraries to fit into specific requirements and budgets, while maintaining the standard of service we are famous for. If sales and targets get you going, we'd love to hear from you. Shift work involves a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays. Responsibilities include: Promoting and booking guest activities and restaurant bookings, following up, handing over and logging all service issues during shift Developing and promoting exceptional working relationships with third party vendors such as activity operators, restaurants and transport providers Meeting and greeting all guests on arrival and departure, offering baggage assistance and performing prompt and courteous check-in escort procedures Driving hotel vehicles Providing guests with the services and facilities they require in a friendly, professional and timely manner Please contact us for a full position description detailing key tasks and responsibilities. Skills, Experience and Attributes One year's front of house experience in hospitality or similar environment  Knowledge of the local area, attractions and amenities would be helpful Full clean driver's licence essential Passenger Endorsement Licence, or the ability to obtain one Strong written and spoken English skills Strong computer skills  Must be physically fit Long term commitment to Queenstown Benefits and Rewards Full-time, permanent role with minimum of 30 hours per week guaranteed Rate of pay from $26.50 per hour Uniform items provided Duty meals Free parking Access to promotional product training of excursions in the surrounding region Sustainability is at the forefront of how we work, with a strong environmental and social sustainability programme Employee Assistance Programme Wellbeing initiatives In order to apply for this position, you must hold a valid work visa to enable you to legally work in New Zealand.
