Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) MHM Automation is a New Zealand based company that designs and supplies innovative automated systems and equipment for the global food processing (dairy, meat, and produce), timber/sawmilling, and logistics sectors. We are an international business with numerous installations across Australia, New Zealand, the Americas, Asia, and Europe. MHM is part of the global Fortifi Food Processing Solutions group, together with our sister companies, Bettcher and Frontmatec. MHM's product range allows Fortifi to expand into materials handling and packaging solutions, with state-of-the-art capabilities in robotics and automation, as well as chilling and freezing, which can be applied across various sectors. The Role: Based in our Head office in Christchurch this role will be the driving force behind aligning and creating efficiencies within MHM's global supply chain including procurement, inventory management and logistics. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will be responsible for the planning, management and performance of supply chain and logistics across the MHM Group. Coordinating with current supply chain and procurement teams globally you will have accountability over procurement resources, manage suppliers and contracts to ensure our solutions reach our customers while continuously seeking to improve internal processes. Due to the global scope of our business this role will require accessing offshoring and 3PL alternatives for our international markets. About You: Relevant tertiary qualification, such as Commerce, Engineering, Operations or International Business Operational experience and knowledge of supply chain management (including procurement, logistics and inventory management) in an international manufacturing environment.
