About the role
The Risk and Compliance Officer will work directly with the Group Manager Risk, Assurance & Compliance on company wide compliance and risk management matters as the 2nd Line of Defence function.
You will be responsible for:
providing considered and pragmatic compliance advice through careful analysis and interpretation of legislative and regulatory compliance requirements
translating compliance requirements into efficient operational processes and policies
managing GrainCorps anti-bribery and corruption program
developing and delivering compliance training programs
assisting the business to identify, evaluate and manage operational risks
contributing to the enhancement of the risk management framework
producing periodic reports and committee papers.
Your skills and experience
Our preferred candidate has good, broad compliance and risk management experience gained in a mid-to-large, complex business environment. This should include experience with one or more of the focus areas of this role: anti-bribery and corruption, risk management frameworks, or compliance training programs.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as business, commerce, risk management, compliance or similar would be welcome.
You must be able to demonstrate outstanding communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
