In this new model, we are not commissioners' holding the power. We are Te Tiriti o Waitangi partners and allies, we are listeners of diverse voices, we are holders of the space for communities and whanau to lead. We are a team of teams who live within and reflect the communities we serve. We are responsible for designing community-based systems of care, agreeing health and wellbeing plans, executing those plans, and monitoring outcomes which then feed into the design process. We work in partnership with our Te Whatu Ora and Te Aka Whai Ora colleagues to shape system-wide public health services across the motu. Localities and locality planning are a new feature of the reformed health system and will play an important role in the primary and community healthcare, the wider health system, and in social sector integration. The Group Manager, Localities leads the team (in partnership with Te Aka Whai Ora) responsible for the effective design and implementation of localities, partnering with IMPBs, health providers, wider social sector funders and providers, local government, and communities. Mou About you You're a Senior Leader that brings with you 10+ years of experience of leading system and service design. You are known how to engage with communities and stakeholders to successfully role out services, and have experience with funding models and service frameworks You have a natural talent for providing strategic direction, while also guiding and supporting the wellbeing and development needs of your team. If you have a strong drive to deliver and are passionate about making a difference in the healthcare industry, then we want to hear from you. Nga pukenga me nga wheako Skills and experience Extensive commissioning and community development experience in varied environments, stretching over 10+ years including : Demonstrated experience in system and service design Demonstrated experience in health service funding and procurement and provider oversight Demonstrated experience in place-based planning and collective impact approaches Demonstrated experience at a leadership level for developing, maintaining and influencing relationships and partnerships across sectors and organisations including with Maori and Pacific Peoples and groups Demonstrated ability to think conceptually and anticipate the impact of decisions on long-term outcomes, including financial outcomes, and develop / recommend responses in consultation with key stakeholders A relevant tertiary or professional qualification Ka kawea e koe You will bring : A commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions.
