Position Purpose: As the Group Manager, you will lead with strategic foresight, overseeing the management and growth of our Council's business units. Your responsibilities will span strategic commercial leadership, operational management, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Oversight: Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies, identify new opportunities, and foster innovation within the CBU. Operational Leadership: Optimize resource allocation, guide brand development, and ensure operational excellence across business units. Commercial and Financial Management: Ensure financial stability, provide insights for strategic decision-making, and champion cost efficiency and fiscal responsibility. Strategic Leadership: Support the CEO in meeting goals, build trust and collaboration, and foster an equitable and inclusive work environment. What We Are Looking For: Strong leadership and strategic planning skills, with experience in natural hazard management. Technical expertise in engineering and risk management, with a focus on floods, coastal erosion, and seismic risks. Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and lead multidisciplinary teams. Experience in project management, procurement, and contract negotiation.
