Group Fitness Coordinator (Part Time)

Stratford District Council is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to coordinate a wide range of fitness programmes and activities provided by the TSB Pool Complex.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for the fitness industry and the ability to motivate both the users of the facility and the small team that will work together to provide the programmes. They will have a good knowledge of the aquatic functions and be creative in producing new programmes that utilise both the water and land.
This is a permanent, part time position (minimum 30 hours per week) which will include the:
The preferred candidate will have a New Zealand Certificate in PreChoreographed Group Exercise L3 or Equivalent Fitness Qualification and current first aid certificate. They will have the drive to grow our business and programmes, with a minimum of two years' experience in group fitness instruction. They will have exceptional customer service skills and a good understanding of technology. Having a current lifeguard certificate is an advantage but not a must have.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
An Individual Employment Agreement will be negotiated with the successful applicant. Dependent on the qualifications and experience of the applicant, additional hours may be available in other aspects of the facility.
