As a growing company Karaka Pines Villages relies on accurate information and records and reporting. The Group Financial Controller will be involved in managing the finances of the group, in addition to supervising the small team of 2 producing financial reports.  The group consists of seven retirement villages and other operating entities and has varied regular and formal reporting and compliance requirements.  Reporting to and working closely with the CEO, this role is responsible for all financial tasks, including: cashflow management; budgeting; day to day financial operations; completing financial statements for audit; and quarterly / annual reporting to the Directors. The role is integral to all the business processes and interfaces with all the divisions and village locations around the country.    About You The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, experience, skills and attributes: Appropriate qualification in finance with current membership of CAANZ. Previous experience in a similar role.  Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of business systems, funding and financial management and controls. Experience with and in-depth knowledge of Xero. Experience in business and procedures analysis, problem resolution, project/change management and task prioritisation. Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and Office technologies including SharePoint. Exceptional communications skills, both verbal and written. The right to live and work in New Zealand.
