Who are we looking for?
We are on the hunt for an experienced FMCG retail leadership professional whose heart is with team engagement and next-level customer experience.
Leading the Mt Eden Farro Checkout & Grocery teams, this role focuses on engaging and motivating the team to provide that all-important last impression to delight our customers., as well as ensuring that the shelves are fully stocked and beautifully presented. Working as part of a larger management team, this is an on-the-floor, lead-by-example role where team development and leadership is key.
You will be role-modelling your skills in customer care and issues resolution, merchandising, ordering, and stock management. An interest in quality food is a definite advantage in this role. A tertiary qualification in a related discipline would help you to understand the numbers and the bigger picture, so would be a big benefit. Leadership experience is highly preferred, as we want to hear how you would keep your team motivated and engaged. You will also need to have a valid Duty Managers certificate, and extensive experience with POS systems.
The details
This role is based at our Mt Eden store and involves working approximately 40 hours per week across 4 days - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
