This is rapidly growing, innovative Company, with its Head Office based in Tauranga. It is proud to be designing, producing, and marketing its products globally from the Bay of Plenty. It also has offices internationally, based near other, strong grower communities.
The Marketing function is seeking to expand its people capabilities by adding a Graphic Designer to the team to assist in the delivery and execution of graphic design to products that promote brand superiority, brand recognition, and that exude quality and finish.
The role works closely with the Brand Manager and is responsible for providing a graphic design service for a range of corporate communications projects, marketing campaigns and for a variety of specific projects from concept through to implementation stage. You will be willing and able to follow and execute instructions and you will assume responsibility and ownership for each job you undertake, and timely completion to high standards will be expected.
You?ll be artistic and creative, with a flair for colour and design. You will already be able to use products such as Photoshop and InDesign and be competent with MS Office software. You will be able to communicate and engage effectively stakeholders within the business and suppliers, be able to effectively understand requirements and deliver on these. You will ideally have already gained some graphic design work experience, however, Graphic Design/Marketing Graduates with a very strong portfolio will be considered.
To excel in this role, you will have:
A Degree or Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or Marketing
1-year post study experience in a Graphic Design role OR be a new graduate with an exceptional portfolio
Experience in Adobe Creative products ? in particular Photoshop and InDesign
Conversant and proficient in the full Microsoft Office suite
Artistic ability, including good sketching, drawing and painting skills
Knowledge of art materials and techniques, with the ability to use colour and design effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The ability to understand the business strategy and requirements and turn them into suitable designs
Excellent time-management skills
Experience of being able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Great attention to detail
Be able to produce and deliver quality results consistently
Non-Essential, but desirable Requirements

Familiarity with web content management systems, e.g: Silverstripe
Familiarity with Hubspot MarketingHub
Understanding of print process and supplier requirements
Understanding of, or interest in the horticulture industry
Clean, current NZ full Driver?s License
