Your Title:Graduate Supply Chain /Transport PlannerJob Location:Tokoroa, New ZealandOur Department:ForestryAre you a Supply Chain graduate, are you interested in joining a global technology company?We want your ideas, your enthusiasm and your passion for learning new technology!What You Will DoUsing specialist logistics software, you will be involved in executing and monitoring the wood flow plan to ensure successful outcomes for our clients. This will require you to balance the micro requirements of the contractors to achieve the macro objectives of the forest owners.You will be coordinating and scheduling harvesting contractors and logging trucks to uplift loads, thinking about the best overall utilization of the fleet and minimum cost of distribution, solving a myriad of problems that occur along the way.You will be monitoring and reporting on production, inventory, and delivery targets, negotiating with suppliers and customers and meeting them in the field when issues demand direct communications.
