Grader Operator / Heavy Machinery Operator (Bop)

Great opportunity for Grader Operator / Heavy Machinery Operator to join our Civil Construction team in Tauranga , Bay of Plentyand work on various civil and roadingprojects.We are looking for someone wants to work hard for the team and who wants to develop their skills.HEB is committed to training and developing its people so if you're wanting to go places, we offer top rates and good benefits.About the roleOperate various items of plant on different civil projects (grader, roller, compactor, site dumper)Driver operator and General labouring work to support the team when requiredManual labour and hand tool operationsUsing machinery in accordance with manufacturers instructions, with due care and attention in a safe mannerWeekly mechanical prestart inspections of plant ans machinery (greasing, cleaning and maintainance)Carry out variety of civil engineering tasksAssess hazards and recommend and intiate solutionsThis is a permanent full-time job ($30-40 per hour based on skills and experience, and guaranteed min 40 hours per week)About youWTR endorsements are essential (or overseas equivalent)Proven experience as an Grader / Operator in Civil constructionExtensive experience working onroading projectsWillingness to muck in and put a hard day's work inA desire to keep yourself and others safe in the workplaceSiteSafe or Construct Safe certificate (or ability to obtain it)You're passionate about what you do and genuinely take pride in a job well.This is a physical role, so you need to be fit and well to carry out your duties.We are contracted to work all over Bay of Plenty, so you will need to be open to travel within the region.About HEB :HEB Construction is a dynamic and innovative leader in New Zealand Infrastructure.
