About the opportunity | Te whiwhinga mahi Due to an upcoming parental leave, we have an exciting opportunity for a Governance and External Reporting Manager to join our dynamic and high performing team on a 13-Month Fixed Term Contract. Based in the heart of Auckland City, this is a global role where you will report into the GM Governance and play a pivotal role in managing our external reporting processes and supporting the effective and efficient operation of Fonterra's governance model.
As an instrumental member of the Governance team, you will liaise with a variety of stakeholders at key junctures within the annual business cycle to ensure timely, effective delivery and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
In addition, you will also:

Lead on Fonterra's transition to integrated reportingCo-ordinate the approval and governance processes with relevant stakeholdersMonitor changes in reporting requirements and stay abreast of best practice trendsAct as Secretariat for a Board Committee To note, start date will be on or before September 1st 2024 to allow sufficient handover period. About you | Ko wai koe You will be a strategic thinker with experience in a large, complex and corporate environment where you can leverage your previous enterprise-wide approach as you understand the Fonterra landscape.
Working together with various parts of the Co-op, you will build strong working relationships with ease and your stakeholder management will be second to none.
With a solution focused mindset, you will have a strong and natural orientation to business process improvement as you work collaboratively within the immediate team and more broadly.
Ideally you will also:
Have tertiary qualification in Law, Commerce, Business management or similarHave excellent written, oral and influencing skillsEnjoy solving complex problems Are you excited about this opportunity but may only meet some requirements?
