Join us as a Global Product Manager for the Electrification Business Area where you will be accountable for the long-term profitable growth of assigned product lines. Managing the marketing of the ABB's Power Conditioning offering to target market segments, and managing offering through all of its life cycle phases, according to market needs and ABB's Power Protection Global Product Group strategy and targets. This position reports to the Chapter Leader Product Management and this position is based in Napier, New Zealand. Your responsibilities Working closely with the Product Owner and planning the roadmap to create maximum value and follow-up of offering portfolio performance, contributing to development of new portfolios by leading customer need and value analysis Defining value proposition per segment and channel and ensuring clear communication to channels and users Owning the technical and market specification for the offering and determination of a business plan that supports sustainable growth Prioritizing new offering development projects with responsibility for achievement of targets and coordinating cross-functional teams Initiating and driving product market communication strategy, including product launch planning and implementation Monitoring global sales target fulfilment and tender volumes and acting as appropriate and leading life cycle management process Being responsible for offering profitability and margin and for salesperson and/or local sales organization product technical trainings Driving the annual / quarterly business planning process Your background Minimum bachelor's degree of engineering ideally in electrical engineering, MBA preferred with minimum 10 years in strategic marketing or similar role in industry. Previous experience working in an Agile environment and in electric (High, Medium Low Voltage Products and Systems) and Automation industry (preferred) Previous experience in UPS industry Understanding of mission critical segments: Data Center, Infrastructure, Utility. Strong technical acumen, experience influence key customers, and partners Experience in leading in matrix organization.
