Based within Procurement's Operational Excellence team, you support all aspects of company spend and supply chain management activity within Global Procurement providing robust analytical insight and cost reporting expertise using core analytical principles which span Descriptive Analytics, Predictive Analytics, and Prescriptive Analytics.
In this unique role you'll be business partnering with senior leadership, category and project delivery owners, global finance and various operational functions across the Fisher & Paykel and broader Haier Group of companies contributing to our pursuit of best practice. You will apply your analytical skill across Procurement workstream initiatives, functional performance tracking, month-end results reporting, budget planning and leading the development of spend management and cost modelling tools.
So who are you?
As an analytics professional with prior experience in manufacturing environments, you have an established record in effective cost modelling, business analytics, applying valuations to and delivering robust analytical insight and reporting supporting our strategic business plans. You understand and draw on your knowledge of corporate financial principles and best practice tools for supporting effective decision-making. You do not shy away from unstructured business challenges or areas of ambiguity and enjoy the satisfaction of expanding the function's operational capabilities. You have an affinity for numbers and quantifying value as well as managing large data sets. You have a passion for technology and continuous improvement and work easily both in work teams as well as independently.
You are a self-starter with strong work ethics who thrives in a fast-paced work environment. Being well organized with an ability to multitask, you easily adapt as priorities change in your support of multiple work streams and project groups. You possess professional integrity and courage that enables you to skilfully challenge established mental models in the interest of achieving maximum value potential for the function. Your communication skills are of a high standard with strong focus on active listening and effectively using facilitative questioning to build a base of knowledge that leverages available subject matter experts. Your ability to build effective relationships with all parts of the business will be essential in achieving the required results and delivering maximum value of your role to the business.
