The Role: Global Marketing & Purchasing Adviser As a Global Marketing & Purchasing Adviser for EJ HOLDING LIMITED, you will be responsible for advising on global products and emergent markets, particularly in the area of profitable arbitrage to maximise potential profit for the company. You will play a crucial role in taking the business to the next level by ensuring attractive products to the customer. This position requires a results-driven individual with excellent experience, connections, commercial astuteness, leadership and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities: •      Global Product Knowledge: Identify emergent markets and product trends including pricing to maximise arbitrage potential. Maintain a deep understanding of existing and potential new products, as well as industry trends, to provide expert guidance to the purchasing and the sales team. •      Commercial Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the purchasing and sales team to achieve their targets and provide exceptional customer service. •      Marketing Strategy: Identify attractive products and prices and develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue, including setting sales goals, quotas, and budgets. •      Customer Brand Engagement: Build and maintain strong customer brand recognition and cognitive relationships, ensuring an excellent shopping experience and repeat business. •      Inventory Management: Being aware of inventory levels, ensuring availability of products and proper merchandising in the store, identifying products which are slow to sell and termination of non profitable products. •      Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales metrics and KPIs, and make data-driven decisions to improve performance. •      Training and Development: Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback to the purchasing and sales team to enhance their skills and product knowledge. •      Reporting: Prepare regular reports and present them to senior management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Proven experience in global marketing and purchasing, preferably in the furniture or related industry. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Excellent negotiation and communication abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
