The opportunity!
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, this is a hands-on role working in a team to ensure safe, efficient and effective operations of various plant equipment. Working hours are 2:00pm to 10.30pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities & Duties
Glass processing
Safe manual handling of glass
Loading and unloading methods
Adhering to production targets
Participating and contributing to site safety
Skills & Qualifications
To be considered for this role you will be known for your willingness to learn and be motivated by achieving a zero-harm environment. You will enjoy working in a team and achieving operational targets. Ideally you will have a mechanical aptitude and;
Experience working in a similar position within a fast paced production environment
Glass experience preferred but not essential if you have the right attitude and willing to learn
Dedicated safety focus
Good attention to detail, positive attitude and ability to follow instructions
Physical fitness is required as some manual lifting is involved (up to 35 kg)
